So I just gotdone with a STB Naphtha Extract... my question is...

I was curious I've been researching the so called red spice or jungle spice, and I understand toulene or xylene can pull these mysterious other alkaloids out, and they may or may not have an effect on the experience as jungle spice is a highly debated topic...

From research I have gathered that evapping xylene is bad, don't have a clear answer as to why? Also that one cannot freeze precip with xylene? Is this also correct? I had seen that it was recommended to salt the alkaloids with vinegar then freebase again? If this is the preferred/best method can someone give me an idea on how I would salt with vinegar after pulling the xylene? Would I simple mix vinegar into the xylene/alkaloid solution and then swirl it all around wait for separation to occur then pull the vinegar layer, and add lye/lime/sodium carbonate? Help please in understanding this process would be great!

I'd follow this link for salting the DMT out of the xylene

Then, I'd evaporate it to yield DMT acetate, mix with excess sodium carbonate, and pull with acetone to yield freebase.

I have already pulled the N-N DMT with naphtha I am solely trying to pull whatever else is left now for testing, so any particular starting point in that tek? It mentioned this tek is not useful for lye preparations which is what I did.

Yeah, so go ahead and do a pull or two with xylene just as you would with naphtha and proceed with salting as described in the tek I linked you to. The lye won't make a difference :thumb_up:

Ok I've actually been evapping the xylene its basically down to a very thin layer should I stop evapping add some vinegar and go from there or should I just say fuck it at this point and evap completely its like almost done lol

SO I evapped the rest of xylene I was left with white yellow crystals and a yellow oil scraped up it had some brown/red/tan then when all mixed and scraped the oil solidified almost instantly, and currently has a tan/yellow color, but smells a bit like xylene, so I chopped it up to a powder and am currently letting it sit longer to get rid of rest of smell hopefully, does this sound right? Only did one xylene pull again the color is TAN as the end product not the red/brown/black oil I was expecting and heard was jungle spice.

EDIT 1:Also I might add it is waxy when I touch it, some sticks to my fingers and leaves a residue after rubbing my fingers together looks like solid powder on tin foil but waxy to the touch.

EDIT 2:After drying for a while the powder no longer smells like xylene,smells like flowery DMT like people who post about it claim. I will let it sit even longer just to be sure all evapped and am still nervous about it as I was with my first naphtha extract but will eventually bioassay... but hopefully prior to this someone can chime in some input on the TAN WAX, I've been researching a bit and I've read of ways to remove the DMT kinda but nothing I really understood or that was written well enough to make me fully believe what I have is jungle spice, I'm also evapping some plain xylene again just to test for sure of a clean evap...
