If by torrent you mean tor, then yes it couldn't hurt. Has anyone ever been tracked down and investigated for posting incriminating things on a site like this? Not yet AFAIK but it could happen anytime. Could your membership and postings on the Nexus be used as additional evidence against you if you happen to get caught doing the things that are discussed here? Absolutely yes.

And you should really assume that your accessing of any website is easily traceable unless you are using an anonymizing connection like tor.

Use your best judgement...
