hi..
i read a lot about changa last weeks, but some thing turned out for me not clearly..
Do people only 10x Caapi Leaf, or Lotus, pau d'arco, Mullein when trhy talk about their recipes, or would it make sense to have a like 10x extracted alcohol extract of all your herbs.

for example this recipe:

250mg Peppermint
250mg Mullein
100mg Skullcap
100mg Calea Z
100mg Chaliponga
100mg Salvia Leaf
100mg Silene Capensis

Oh, and the special ingredient: 1 gram of DMT.

wouldnt it make sense to add
250mg Peppermint
250mg 10x Mullein
100mg 10x Skullcap
100mg 10x Calea Z
100mg 10x Chaliponga
100mg 10x Salvia Leaf
100mg Silene Capensis

Oh, and the special ingredient: 1 gram of DMT.

would be the same amunt of weight in the end...?

ok for peppermint i'll understand, but wouldnt it make sense to soak his herbs for 30 days, (like 10xMullein) and then infuse 1 gr with that..

why do people just infuse a couple of their herbs??

my 50 gr of pau d'arco just arrived, and i think of soaking like 45 gr for 30 days and then infuse the left 5 gr with the Menstruum and let that soak until IPA is evaped??

some people infuse all their herbs, some only some so they can change the ratio of infused herbs vs non.

its all personal preference, really.

generally blue lotus remains uninfused so its color remains intact.

When it comes to certain herbs, like Pau D' Arco, I prefer to soak them in alcohol for 30 days and then evaporate some of that on the changa to get it's essence in there without having to smoke wood and bark.

With the mullein, it makes a great base herb to infuse everything to because it's so sponge like.

As for everything else, like Parshvik said, it's all a matter of preference.

Just be careful when working with the extracts of stuff because it can get pretty potent pretty quick.

Also, it's not a bad idea to test your blends out by smoking some before you add your dmt to make sure it's not going to be too harsh or unpleasant. Once you've got a nice tasty blend, then add your spice and enjoy!

Good luck!
