cool idea. i use a soldering iron's ceramic element (the thing under the metal tip) as a butane-free lighter alternative.

is the soldering iron directly coupled to the metal bowl thinger? and did you fashion the bowl yourself or get it from somewhere (where i may be able to as well  )
