Hello again fellow travelers! I had 2 back to back experiences the other day that I've been pondering ever since. Most of my experiences are wildly different from one another, but these 2 were so similar that I'm wondering if I've done something wrong. The trips unfolded like this:
After taking my normal 1-2 hits, I was transported into a room as my waking reality began to fade. Normally this is the point where I lose my ego and the experience deepens, but this time was different. I felt as though I was being asked to solve a riddle/answer a question before progressing - and I was unable to do so.
Have you ever tried to watch a video on youtube but a huge popup blocks most of the screen? This is exactly what my experience was like. But instead of an ad, it was some kind of message/formula/riddle. There was some presence telling me in my mind, "The answer is in front of you", but I could not figure out what that answer was. The longer I took to solve, the more demanding the question became and the more negative the experience became. It almost felt like trying to solve a captcha to prove you were allowed entry, and I unfortunately ran out of time and was blocked.
Upon returning to reality, everything in my waking vision was 'bloated'. The posters on my wall, my furniture, and even my own limbs looks engorged like everything was massively overweight. The deadly sin of gluttony kept echoing in my mind as everything in my room continued to fatten and bloat. I felt like I was morbidly obese and guilty of gluttony - of being too greedy seeking the DMT experience.
Has anyone had similar experiences of being required to solve a riddle or pass a test before entry to hyperspace? I'd love to hear about it and help settle my anxiety. I fear that I may have been blocked from those beautiful worlds.
PS - A couple of background notes
- I had taken a 6 week break from DMT before these 2 experiences
- I had not taken any drugs that day. Only had one mixed drink
- I had gone to a rave 24 hours prior and took about ~300 mg of MDMA thoughout an 8 hour span. Perhaps I overtaxed my serotonin production?
- I am extremely respectful of the spirit molecule. I have read multiple books and performed hours of research learning how the molecule interacts with mind, body, and soul. I go into every experience extremely humble and willing to learn
