Some bad rep on LSD

Migrated topic.

SWIM never tried LSD however he just found this post on other forum.

I'm 18 and 1 month ago I took 2 "LSD" blotters. Not sure it was LSD because it lasted 14h, had few visuals and affected my cognition in a way I was not expecting (I was completely numb, couldn't follow a conversation!). Since then I have HPPD - persistent visuals like double vision, absurd light sensitivity to glares, long lasting negative afterimages and about 0.5 seconds positive afterimages for everything. I also got several cognitive issues: I feel extremely lightheaded, sluggish and with brain fog, as if I'm sleepless, though I'm sleeping well. That horrible feeling of mental tiredness/retardness is on me 24/7 with no improvement. It's exactly like if some of the 'numbness' I had during the trip did not go away.

For instance, when I'm shopping, I have to make an abnormal effort to do things right. I have to actually think in what I'm doing like "OK now I wait on the queue... OK, now I talk to the attendant... OK now I pay...". Or when I'm talking to friends, I'm so slow I'm constantly asking them to repeat their statements, as if I didn't hear, so I can process the info and think in an answer. Otherwise I just can't follow the conversation.

This all is DESTROYING me to a point I'm turning suicidal. I have made an appointment with 2 doctors that had no idea of what I had and gave me random remedies. Do anyone here have any idea of what the hell happened to me, scientifically talking? Perhaps receptor damage? Neurotransmitter depletion? Neuronal death? Neural networks rewired? What can I do to be myself again?

That most certainly is not LSD. Probably some research chemical or other...

It is wise to be wary of what you put in your body.

Could be some RC..

Also we get no background on this person's history and the set and setting for consuming.. Does the person have personal or family history of psychological/psychiatric problems? How was the set and setting when consumed? Any other drug usage before or during the experience? Other pharmaceutical usage? Other possible pre-existing conditions? etc

Changed the topic title.

A poster in that thread argues that it is LSD, due to the size of the blotter.

Size of blotter is very far from being a chemical analysis...

We can speculate all we want I guess, but there will be no conclusion there with just words.

I think what this kid should do is seek some open-minded professional help (and maybe get some more of that "acid" and have it tested). Definitely his background will need to be screened by the professional. Now he should just stop consuming drugs, dedicate himself to something productive, study, some hobby, exercise, eat healthy, and also get support from his family and friends, and hopefully with time it will work itself out.

^ Good advice

There has been an influx of "acid" going around lately (at least in the western US) that I suspect is one of the new NBOMe chemicals. The thing that really tips me off is the no visuals report, everyone who took this "acid" gave the exact same report of no visuals, also the extended duration leads me to think RC.

Do(x) chemicals and the NBOMe chemicals fit on blotter quite easily

no idea about chemistry. Heres the full discussion on this:

I never had effects like that from LSD. I have heard others who say they feel burned out for a day or so after, but that is it. I found LSD interesting and worthwhile but I only took it 3 times, got what I needed and personally dont have much interest in it anymore. I know that my best friend loves it and many others do as well, but for me I find mushrooms, ayahuasca and cacti more appealing. Also the risk of strange blotters just strengthens my decision. The one facinating thing about LSD is that it seems to be surrounded in syncronicity..
