What if..

...Planck was right and "all matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force, should we assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter."

So, we have this Nobel prize, physics erudite... that is related with early Quantum research... saying that reality, at its most fundamental level is a sort of conscious Matrix.

And then we have this psychological phenomena (hyperspace/dimensional travel/inner paths to outer space/whatever you want to call it) that apparently makes Planck look like he is right.

So... key words:

> matter
> force
> conscious
> mind
> matrix

maybe psychedelic phenomena (which is of course, a conscious force) may influence Matrix with itself could influence matter.

Unfortunately? if such a thing as "destiny" or "higher meaning" is involved in this equation. Then, most likely psychedelic phenomena wouldn't alter matter at all. Unless, of course that it could alter the road, but not the final destination, metaphorically speaking.

Last night I had a dream in which dimensional travel was possible. It was fun, until a friend of mine woke me up.

giving it a second read, I applaud my own selection of key words and will proceed to congratulate myself with the following scheme:

Matter + Force: Energy (yes, I know matter is energy, it still is using force?)

Conscious energy: Life?

Life + Mind: Intelligence

Intelligence + Matrix: [Hyperspace] ??

o__o

some ideas man...

It's funny you make this post. It sounds kinda similar to what i was just thinking about 5 minutes ago. when you say conscious energy could affect matter. I was thinking that love and hate is a real phenomena and i'm pretty sure it permeates all aspects of reality. I was thinking about this because people will often say that drugs aren't good or evil etc.. and that if done responsibly then it's all good. This doesn't quite sit right with me somehow so i was thinking what if evil energy can affect molecules and stuff and could turn drugs bad or vice versa with love.

If conscious energy is real and affecting day to day matter i think it could maybe account for good and bad trips. We've all had those weird trips where dmt gives you one trip and then off the very same batch it gives you a totally different trip. I'm probably talking nonsense but your post kinda rang a bell with me but i haven't quite sussed out what it is that i'm thinking about :)

Well the idea that they "found" computational code in string theory equations leads me down the matrix road in a slightly different route.

Life here = extension of our actual existence

My theory is basically this, for now.

We play video games to receive a different type of stimulus that you don't receive from other types of interaction. This generated world, matrix, being for that same purpose. Emotional stimulation, which we don't experience without this matrix world. Reincarnation being the same thing as when your guy dies in a game you start from the beginning.

I have heard a lot of people's experiences with meditation, DMT, other tryptamines ect having visions or experiences that strengthen this theory.

there are some that look at a brain as little more than a hard drive that functions by virtue of a 'computational code' of sorts....

and would the beings of the computed matrix not be an extension of the mind computing it?

Lol @ "is it really ok to just let everyone be and respect their beliefs? What if their beliefs are influencing me in a damaging way and therefore violating my rights?

Isnt "not" letting people do what they want violating their rights?

What I do and other people see can influence what they will react to but it is up to them how they react. The person that created that image didn't think out what they were writing very well. Just displaying that thing is in their words "influencing others and violating there's rights"

Whether you want it or not your current beliefs are all implanted by others.
Since the day you where born you where told how the world works.
You most probably know about DMT from another person.

However when you realize that your beliefs sort of affect your reality, and the surroundings/environment interacts with you based on that belief. You pretty much should realize that you really are the king of your life.
Because once you realize you can go on creating the life you want, no one can control you anymore.

Thoughts really do affect the world around us.

While living near people you tend to grab what they believe and you don't really put any thought into it.

People who change their religion because of some "divine signs" are probably the result of unconsciously changing their belief, therefore changing the way reality interacts.

Off course these are all just theories, and there is a lot to talk about this.

What if others' beliefs are influencing me in a damaging way and therefore violating my rights?

The "everything affects everything" idea rings true, but trying to implement that in society rings like reductio ad absurdum. What does it bring? Thought police?

There is no way you can isolate your mind from the rest. Or from the hive-mind. It's true that, in order to grant certain freedoms, lines have to be traced. So if the question is - should psychedelic experiences be left beyond or within the line, I think the speculative nature of our current understanding of the psychedelic experience is what answers the question.

We cannot limit personal freedom based on speculation. The same cognitive freedom that might bother you in the others is available for yourself. And as long as an hypothetical cause-effect relation between our mystical experiences and the minds of our peers remains hypothetical, banning those experiences in order to prevent interferences in others minds sounds like killing the ill just in case it happens to be infectious.
