Hello nexians,

I plan to use pharmahuasca on a regular basis to try kick the morphine habit that I have. So, I have to do some B. caapi, P. harmala and M. hostilis extractions. Living with my parents and not having where else to go, I'm kinda forced to cook, while they are at home too, so I want to minimize the numbers of extractions as much as I can, since they are old folks. I have 1 kg of MHRB, which yields around 0.8 percent of DMT, based on my previous smaller extractions.

Now I want to try 2 x 500 grams extractions or 1 x 1 kg extraction and stock up with enough dmt and harmalas for my clean-up attempt. But I have a few questions and would be happy if someone helps me. Basically, will it be efficient to simmer/gentlyl boil the kg of MHRB 3 times for an hour in acidic water, then reduce the volume to let say 2 liters of liquid and strain the bark from the tea and then procede further with the basification and pulling? My problem is not being able to find suitable vessels for a bigger extraction, so was wondering if this is going to work.

Sorry to tell you, but looks like your environment is not suitable for actions like extracting and using pharma on daily basis.

Morphine habit is not a good thing, but I also can't imagine a person purging and tripping around old folks. Please have mercy on them.

Maybe you should work on a plan, collecting some money for a small room and prepare mimosahuasca instead of extracting. As I heard, iboga is also a great tool for addictions. Also, you can always seek professional help. Some psychedelics are just tools, but you are the worker. Use your head💕

Be careful with scaling in your extractions, as it's advisable to not multiply amounts by how much starting material you want to use, ie. Don't just double if you're using twice as much starting material.

This is true. And that's because scaling works differently depending on how many dimensions are involved:
length:area:volume →→ 1:1:1:::2:4:8

Consider this carefully, and when you are back in the right situation to be trying things out I hope it helps.

Thank you all for your help!

So, I tried with 250 grams of shredded bark, which was neither finely shredded, nor made up of super big chunks of bark. Something in between. The night before the extraction I put the bark in just enough water to cover it in a pot and 100 ml of vinegar. Then on the next day I made 3 x around 20 min. boilings with each time adding 100 ml vinegar to the fresh water. After that I ended with about 5 liters of MHRB tea, which I reduced to a more easily workable 500 ml. Put them in a liter glass bottle, added 100 ml with 40 grams of salt, dissolved in them and then another 250 ml with 100 grams of NaOH in it.

After it cooled down to a temperature, which was easy to handle by touch, I did 4 pulls with 50 ml of Petroleum Ether and after evaporating it I got almost 1.5 grams of slightly yellowish spice. Given the fact that this batch of MHRB has 0.8 percent of DMT in it, according to my last few extraction with it, I will do some more pulls with NPS to see if the remaining 0.5 gram of DMT is still in the basic soup or it just didn't transfer to the water, because of the bark not being powdered and me doing only 3 x 20 minutes boilings.

As for my parents seeing me doing all those stuff - they really don't mind me doing it, since its for the purpose of me getting clean. Actually, they got converted and became supporters of psychedelic drug use after I educated them on the positive effects, to which their use can contribute. They even wanted to be my tripsitters for my iboga cleaning attempt (which was a dud, unfortunately), but I didn't want to put them through this, because they are inexperienced and also because it wouldn't be a nice sight, seeing me like that.

As for mimosahuasca - I've drank ayahuasca and other analogues of it many times, but I do have gastroesophagial reflux, so for me its really difficult to hold down liquids of such type for enough times, so every time i drink, its a russian roulette of me being able to keep it down enough for it to work. This is why I want to give the pharma a try. Also it will be easy and comfortable for microdosing harmalas.

One more thing I wanted to get your opinion on - after making the dmt extraction, I will go to the harmala part. I have 240 grams of rue seeds and 633 grams of caapi vine. Can you recommend me the best teks for each of them, according to your experience?
