Spice fixing physiological issues?

Migrated topic.

So yesterday my imaginary self was testing out his new bong, at varying doses with me tried and tested 'peppermint blast'... On my second attempt, I slumped into a trance, as frequently happens, and felt this presence, nothing new there. But then involuntarily, my back straightened up, as did my neck, and when I came to, I was sat bolt upright with my head looking straight forwards. This was odd as I ussually lose most of my body control after a big hit and end up in a bit of a heap. I maintained that position and meditated for some time after that.

On the third and final attempt, I loaded up a larger hit still, and took it all in one go. Now I have been having issues with my shoulder getting very stiff in certain positions. Just as I was blasting off my shoulder made a loud popping noise, I wasn't moving a muscle, which I thought was odd. My concioussness then felt like it was expanding, to the point where I couldn't tell where it finnished and the room began. In fact, it was no longer restrained to my head, like a ballon of conciossnes filling the void of the room, and evntually being the room. It was very pleasant and illuminating. Upon bumping back to earth, I meditated some more and got up and stretched. My shoulder moved freely with no stiffness or pain. What the hell is all that about?! Did my subconcious with the help of Spice manage to pop things back into place? I knew Spice could be useful for mental issues, but physiological ones as well? Wow. Spice never fails to impress me!

Glad to hear that your shoulder is feeling better! That is really awesome, and it doesn't really surprise me. I do not think I have ever experienced something so direct. For me, it's more of a whole body and mind experience that is enhanced through replenishing capillaries via movement. There is so much to learn from simply moving, or so it seems. I have heard that insanely loud POP, it sounded like something literally exploded about 10 ft. behind me, and when I looked around, I became hyperspace.

Psychedelics have this ability to allow us to tap into these spontaneous movements that have the potential to do what happened to you, for instance.

Ayahuasca + DMT especially are good for this. I am not sure what the spice is doing to us to allow us to tap into this precision that exists in this state, but you can follow it... it has led me to moving my body in ways I never even thought to, sometimes for many hours at a time, and upon "cooling down" and meditating, there is no doubt it's the best I could possibly feel.

Thanks for sharing. I love hearing about stuff like this.

Its weird, you can feel it tinkering away up there, 'this is getting in the way, posture could be better, there we go' its almost like a mother in that respect, sit up, don't put your elbows on the table, look after your body better :D

Spice is just what the doctor should order!

YES.

It definately heals lots of problems and "strenghtens my core/persona", it's incredible in every sense. But it can also be tough, once it amplified my lower back pain for three days, but it still was a lesson.

Its funny you should say that about core / persona actually! I often, not always, but frequently get some sort of telepathic dialogue after my trips, any how, yestrday after the shoulder popping incident, maybe 20 mins after the peak, I had this message / thought, like "you can feel yourself growing into a beautiful person now, can't you?" sort of thing, and it's true, these last few months have been a great period of growth, introspection and insight in many ways. Very odd, reassuring and interesting.

After my 1st trip I came to realise that my nasty finger biting habit had to stop. I had been biting them for over 20 years with many failed attempts at stopping, and within 6 minutes I stopped. I still marvel at this every time I think about it.

I'm also cutting out booze very successfully, and started quitting cigarettes this week, all because DMT somehow told/showed me they were bad habits that needed to stop, and I listened for a change.

I dunno, maybe I read too much into its effects, but I fully believe I would not have tried to change my habits without the nudge DMT gave me. God knows my wife has tried to get me to stop them for the last 11 years and failed.

Often, if I have eaten too much and have an upset stomach, DMT will remove this feeling. Also seems to clear my throat out. It's as if the ecstatic wave that goes up your spine has something to do with this. Definitely seems to sort out the CNS somehow

My shoulder's feeling a bit stiff again today, God damn it! Ah well, I'm still going to maintain my upright meditation position while smoalking / meditating...

Very interesting about the habit modifying properties though, a good friend stopped drinking Frosty Jack's (*shudder!*) after his first Spice experience, and didn't touch a drop of booze for a few weeks after. Not bad for a borderline alcoholic!

I agree about the CNS thing also, my mood and brain function seems improved after most Spice journeys...

I know a guy who seems prone to chest infections and colds/flu, and he swears by the combination of Moclobemide + DMT fumarate as being very helpful at opening up the airways and improving his symptoms markedly, and this is a consistent effect he experienced every time.

I know i can push harder physically after DMT, but i think its more mental based, it effects my mind more and in turn my mind effects my body.

Saying that full blown rigor mortis is quite the bodily effect!

A changa spliff clears my pathways, lungs, chest unlike anything I've ever used. I can breathe better after changa than what feels like I have ever been able to.

Also, try rubbing some magnaderm (transdermal magnesium) on your shoulder. I have been lifting a lot of weights and get occasional aches and pains in my shoulders and a little magnesium goes a long way in helping relax and repair muscles.

Gentle stretches and yoga daily in conjunction with the spice will help... and consult ayahuasca if you already have not. 8)

Interesting post, I have heard of psychedelics like acid and DMT having anti-inflammatory effects. Maybe your shoulder was inflamed (sounds like it could have been, from the pain) and the DMT may have helped reduce the inflammation, providing instantaneous pain relief.
