It sounds like you totally loosing your dmt as it melts. Yes it melts very easily. What kind of pipe are you using? i can help you out but need more info to do so.
It probably worked better with 10mg because what ever kind of sub standard screening you are using caught enough dmt to give you effects.behindthelight said:I am using a GVG. Like I said, when I was doing small doses....I can do it perfectly. But when I jumped up to this big dose, I did something wrong. I tried pulling all of it in in one hit. So I think I hit it pretty hard with the flame and did like a 5 second pull.
Maybe I just need to do it a few more times to figure it out.
When doing a big dose, do you think it is better to try and get it all in one pull? Or is it better to do 2 pulls?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no way for the DMT to not melt right? So in order for it to vaporize, it has to melt I think?
behindthelight said:I'm assuming that you just barely heat up the copper?
behindthelight said:When you say "be careful", just curious as to why?
behindthelight said:The higher doses just make the experience a lot stronger and more intense right? There is no physical risk of doing bigger doses though I believe, right?
Dmt melts a very low temp. You dont have to get the mesh very hot. Just make sure it is dense enough to entangle all the melted spice. I hold the mesh between the blades of a pair of scissors. try that.behindthelight said:Ok got it. That makes sense.
The only thing I am worried about is setting the copper pad down on the table or whatever and heating it up a little and then putting the spice on it and then having some of the spice run to much and it gets wasted on the table. Has that ever happened to you.
Also, that is why I started small with like 10-15mg doses which worked perfectly. I had some cool little experiences with them. So I decided to take a jump up to 45mg. So I thought I had my technique down, but I guess not 100% yet.
3rdI said:15-45mg is a monstrous leap in dosage, maybe drop it to 30mg for your next attempt.
Are you using a torch or a Bic lighter?

behindthelight said:Alright man. I will definitely give it a shot. Gotta make sure my copper pad is thick enough.
I'm gonna go with a 30mg dose and see if I can get that to work.

I took a little bit deeper breath this time and boy did it work.....
I think I was breathing a little too soft/shallow in the previous attempts...
I felt like this was close to a breakthru....obviously hard to explain....got pretty scared there for a second...just amazing.....sounds crazy...but I felt like my heart was gonna stop or I was gonna die for a few seconds....
olympus mon said:Yes you need some air flow coming into the chamber or the heat wont get to the dmt until the ceramic is way too HOT! Then when you do inhale it will burn causing a really harsh nasty hit that you wont be able to hold in anyway.
A slow draw with the mouth to move the radiant heat through the copper mesh is needed to get the dmt vaporizing.
Be patient the gvg to me is tricky.
