Darkness and Light are just two sides of one coin. At the center of pure Light, you find Darkness, and at the center of that darkness is pure Light.
They exist together, like Life and Death. The Truth is incomplete with just one. When we integrate everything, there is no need to separate them.

Very very true. As I’ve learned to coexist with both and done the Shadow work I have found inner peace. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Oh I thought it was because you are so purely safe from noise and bother. Out of body experiences in pure Darkness claim they are complete Bliss and I had that one, one time way back.
Darkness is also associated with healing at the cellular level. The brain conducting the body's healing unimpeded during rest. The subconscious automatic pilot that is always in our best interests.

"The phrase "the Lord cloaked himself in thick darkness" appears in Psalm 18:11, where it describes God's presence and power. It signifies God's majestic and awe-inspiring nature, using darkness as a metaphor for His hidden glory and transcendence. This imagery emphasizes that while God is hidden, He is also powerful and present, with the darkness serving as a protective and mysterious veil."

But, my favorite line is

Were psychedelics the inspiration for such thoughts or something else?

Do you have much psychedelic experience? Have you had a chance to try DMT and if so what did you think?

It's finally too hot to accomplish much of anything till next month here and it's so hard for me to separate worlds. It's usually when there isn't a lot to do that I have time to think about things and come back to the self that isn't working off of a list.

Psychedelics didn't influence any except "eternity's kiss" and its about the pursuit and impact of it more than one trip. Life, an experience or person, inspires them.
But using psychedelics promoted them all. Made the expressions larger and more daring. I didn't write it down until after I started tripping. It causes you to give more reverance or fascination toward the creation and created. You realize there is only one of each, including moments and most go by so fast they dont get their due.

Writing down unsung songs so that they are remembered or the idea that they are to be. Recording your own thrall and reverie like spells, perchance to strike enchantment in the other. The effort to share one's Godspell.

61-13= 48 years I have known the mushrooms and occaisional LSD, but only DMT once about 15 years ago and salvia a couple times. I have a friend down south for bulko plants too, it just never presented and the 2 times we tried to extract mhrb we didn't get it very right. But besides as kids though, I grew/grow the church's mushrooms since '97 and its just too hot now.

I didn't push it or make any heroic attempt with the DMT like I have other things, I didn't know it and I was looking for that mid-level and not quite so overwhelming 2 or 3 puff deal so I could pay attention more. I expected every toke to launch me and I stopped at heavy patterns and color. If it grew abundantly here, I imagine there would be a DMT monk and I would do a lot more. We are pretty much stuck with a want it?, make it. situation.

What I thought of DMT was "you better be ready to hold on if you're going to take this all the way out there" I'm sure you can do things with it like the mushrooms and the peyote, but I just don't know it or how to ride it yet to do anything but the Wow! part.

There's a thing we do sometimes, where we compost phalaris grass on top of our mushroom patch with some wood it it and those are pretty legendary. You think you've had quite enough with just a little bit and they make Aztec in the sky and on you, whereas I haven't noticed all mushrooms doing that all the time, just some here and there. I think that counts as a combination anyway?
