Stir pill

I was wondering if anyone used a stir pill when doing thier pulls.

I’m on my last pull and was thinking about dropping a stir pill in the solution and letting it stir overnight. I’ll shut it off in the morning and siphons off the nps once it separates. The risk of emulsion is low, considering there is was saline solution added before basifying.

I can’t see a reason why it would hurt, and my thinking is it will keep the solvent on contact with the solution all most all night which should aid in as much transfer as possible.

Is this feasible or is my lack of knowledge showing?

Some people do use a magnetic stir bar, yes. You may as well see if it improves things for you. It only takes a short while for the solvent and aqueous layer to equilibrate, so maybe a half-hour whizz will allow you to get the pulls into the freezer before bed, for a snowy treat in the morning.
