Hi guy i’ve tried last summer for the first time o had about 2 gr of spice and reading here in forum about storage..
So because i’m not ready (and i was not ready) to try againg .. i didnt reach breakthrough but i was at the same time a big experience..
And i’m looking for advice., i keep about one month in plastic bag then decide to put in freezer in little plastic vial, keep closed by cap and plastic film around it.
Do you think i do it in right way?
It’s about 6 month is in freezer at - 20 celsius degrees
If i take vial i can see it’s not wet because if I shake the vial the powder moves.
And how long i can keep there evantually…

I red both links but i’m not sure again about my method and how long i can leave there without lose power..
 

Does DMT go bad?

The main degradation product of dmt seems to be dmt n-oxide, which is also psychoactive. Some people enjoy and find qualitative difference in n-oxide compared to dmt. On the other hand, other people report negative experiences with old spice, but it is unknown how much is self-suggestion and how much is really true. The rate at which dmt converts to n-oxide logically depends on factors such as air exposure and temperature, but so far there havent been any quantitative tests to tell how fast it goes in a given condition.

In any case, n-oxide can be converted back to dmt using zinc dust, see link below

Many people convert the freebase to dmt fumarate for storage, as its claimed to be a more stable salt.

This is not strictly accurate, based on current understanding. DMT-N-oxide has been prepared synthetically and during testing was found to decompose without vaporising. It was not possible to get any psychoactive effects from a confirmed sample of the N-oxide, at least via the inhalation route.

DMT appears to oxidise to oligomers, which break down to active DMT (or something like that) at some point during the process of vaporising the material and its subsequent journey to the receptor sites.
