Storing seeds - Best practices

Hello everyone,

I’ve got a bunch of San Pedro seeds of various crosses that I don’t plan on sowing for at about 5 months. I’ve found conflicting information online on the best way to store them. My plan for now is in a ziplock bag in a jar in the fridge with some desiccants in the jar.

how do you store your seeds?

Cool, dark and dry.

You can use dessicant packs or oxygen absorber for longer term storage, or deep freeze, which is expensive, to keep them indefinitely.

However, 5 months is not long enough to see a serious loss of fertility. It takes a few years of room temp storage for seeds to become non-viable.
