Found these instuctions and pictures on a memory card. I have no idea what this is but feel like posting them on this forum.
1. 50mg of NaOH was added to 750ml of distilled water and stirred to create a homogenous mixture.
2. 50mg of MHRB was added to the NaOH + distilled water. Contents were shaken vigorously for 1 1/2 minutes and left alone for 1 hour.
3. 50ml of WM&P Naphtha was added to contents.
4. Glass jar was then rolled around in random direction for 1 minute and left to sit in a warm water bath for 5 minutes. This was repeated four times. IMPORTANT: glass jar was never shaken.
5. Naphtha was extracted and placed into a pyrex pie dish.
6. Repeated steps 3 thru 5 exactly 3 times.
7. The 200ml of naphtha in the pie dish was then at room temperature for 3 hours before being placed in the freezer for 12 hours.
8. The crystals were stuck to the pie dish and the naptha was poured out. Contents were then placed in a room temperature, isolated area, and left alone for 5-7 hours (or until completely dry)
9. Crystals were then thrown into the garage because the experiment was over
