Such a Thing As To Much Naptha? 100g MHRB Run.

So I cant quite keep a steady hand seperating out 75ml of naptha so I seperated the one gallon into 5 smaller jars and added the 75ml into the smaller jars to do my rolls a pulls. so the question is as the title states.

Is ~75ml-100ml of naptha to ~400ml-500Ml of Water/lye/MHRB mx to much or should I be fine?

Thx

The only problem you'll run into is freeze precipitation.

With larger volumes of solvent it still pulls dmt but does not become super saturated.

To fix this just add together all pulls & let evap down to 50ml before freezing.

I reccommend picking up a few 10ml lab pipettes & a hand pump. It makes things alot easier.
Also, for 50g extractions 750ml liquor bottles work very well. Just have a few on hand because the caps tend to leak after so long & need replaced.

That is... a lot of naptha..

You'll only want 30ml or so for a freeze precip.

Yes, there is a thing called too much naptha.

As stated above, your problem will be freeze precipitation. It can be confusing, because anything your naptha evaporates from will smell like DMT but you'll have no crystals. Low amounts of naptha mean higher saturation and easier precipitation.

A narrow extraction vessel is one way of dealing with small volumes of liquid. The naptha layer will be thicker and easier to pipette up. Lab pipettes, eye droppers, siphons, and other improvised tools will work better than a turkey baster or trying to pour it off.

Thanks. It actually turned out fine but it might be due in part with a short hot bath of the jars before adding the heatrd naptha. maybe getting the molecules moving around faster (like when you boil water) helped to aid in the transfering of spice from the mhrb mix into to naphthab it was only the 2nd pull I added the excess. after the 3rd pull and freeze precip. I yielded 1.6 grams. I got a fourth pull that I have in the freezer after 24hrs soak. Very cloudy after 30 min in freezer.
