Suggestions on dose and frequency for therapeutic purpose?

I've smoked DMT about 12 or so times so far and can say the experiences so far temporarily changed my once awful behaviours and habbits. Although recently I found myself slipping back into a previous addiction I had quit for about two weeks before, so my question is what doses/dose schedules have any of you found helpful for keeping the benefits associated with smoking DMT, and what other steps did you take to lock in what you had learned?

When you start slipping back into negative thought patterns, dose again. Those patterns are like any bad habit, the more you get yourself used to not doing them, the more it will become habit. Alternatively, when colors start to not seem slightly brighter anymore

I find microdosing throughout my week to be very beneficial, and maybe a larger dose on the weekends depending on how I'm feeling. Even microdosing seems to put my head back in the right place for the day. To each their own and it's definitely not good to do DMT to frequently but microdosing I've personally found super beneficial for my headspace and recognizing bad patterns in my behavior.

And yes I agree with this, I really only do breakthrough or larger type doses for therapy when it's needed and it really helps me realize all the toxic/bad habits I started to pick up again and snap out of it. At least for a couple months.

What is your microdose (and route of ingestion) if I may ask?
I'm working with micro-dosing LSD currently (not reg. addiction but insomnia, fatigue, immune system gone of the rails), found that psilocybin does not work as well (microdosing) and I'm curious about what DMT might be able to do.
I only had a 15 mg test vape (which did not work), then fixed the setup and tried 10 mg (brought me I'd say towards upper level 2 of 6 Josie is talking about). I felt of positive effect on mood for a few days.

And did you experiment with combining with harmala? My thinking is generating a more flat but longer effect instead of the steep up/down...

When microdosing I don't generally use harmalas, I really only use harmalas when I'm doing a full session with DMT or smoking changa. When it comes to DMT I consider about 5-10 mg a microdose. Usually just load it up in a bong or my GVG in the morning before I leave to work so it gets my head in a better place for the rest of the day. If I'm doing a regular microdose schedule usually I'll do that every other day.
I find microdosing DMT to be way more beneficial than any other psychedelic, microdosing psilocybin hasnt been been very beneficial to me compared to DMT.

Ok, thanks. Need to experiment a bit with it.
For me LSD 10µg 1D (~7.5µg LSD-25) on empty stomach works well. I feel the extra energy (not with psilocybin, therefore I think it has to do with the dopamine system) especially in the afternoon. In other words, the usual afternoon / evening fatigue is not as strong then.

For me it is instinctual, I might go weeks with zero and the next week might go a few times. I journal after and then re read them when I have quite moments later in the week.
Good luck!
