I'm not too surprised about the low incidence of psychotic episodes. AFAIK, those groups scrutinize pretty deep who they'll let into their circles. An once there, there are plenty warm, proficient people at hand to guide the stray tripper. In the wild the number would probably be somewhat less flattering, but still a LOT better than most drugs; especially combo's with alcohol.

A lot of people just have to have their couple of beers or shots with their dope, to the detriment of us all. You don't see that a lot in church... in fact that's the reason I don't go to church anymore; the last time I pointed out to someone he shouldn't have that beer in hand while we were walking to the altar for communion, he got so mad he hit my joint right out of my mouth.
