Hey Guys,

So me and a friend of mine started looking into DMT about one year ago and we were really eager to try to get our hands on it. By coincidence, it has found its way to us some weeks ago and we gave it a shot. We've smoked it by vaporizing and it worked pretty well. Both of us didn't reach a break-through but the experience was positive. However we're already out of DMT and this was a one-time gift from an anonymous friend.
So, our next step is to perform the extraction ourselves so we can explore the amazing world of DMT a it more, which is why I made this account. I have a background in (bio)chemistry so I feel confident in performing this extraction myself. This forum could supply us with the right teks we need. So basically we really want to experiment with DMT more but we need to figure out the know-how to extract it ourselves. We hope to find the information we need on this forum and we're happy to share our experiences.

the extraction process is a simple A/B extraction and the main teks can be found in the wiki(i personally like the q21q21 foodsafe tek). though there are a few teks that are found as .pdf files in forum posts - cyb has one iirc.

as far as resources go, we can discuss which DMT-containing plants are easy to find, as well as the benefits vs. the detriments of use certain plants as opposed to others. BUT we cannot discuss suppliers of non-live ethnobotanicals.

however, depending on where you live: wild phalaris grass, desmanthus illinoensis, Delosperma, or acacia trees could very well be an option for you.

I applaud you and your friend for wanting to extract - it's great to have an extraction partner. Parshvik Chintan gave you a great link to the wiki - many teks for various plants and entheogens there. I'm sure it will be a great starting place for you.

We are in a period of transition here, learning about extracting from new plants, analyzing plants and growing our own entheogenic plants from seeds, etc. This is due to the primary DMT plant source no longer being available.

There is so much going on at the Nexus it is amazing. Please take some time to check it out. I'm sure there will be much to interest you here.

Thanks for the welcome and the tips to get us started!
I think I'll be busy with reading up on the forum and wiki for a while before we start any procedures but I'll keep you updated and hopefully I can be of some contribution to the Nexus.
