Rising Star
Hello Nexus:
I am in utter awe at the beauty of this substance.
But first, a little about me: I am a 24 y/o female just finishing her first year of grad school in California. My goal is to one day teach philosophy at the Jr. College level. While I enjoy abstract thinking, a community college seems to be where I can have the most influence to help young people find themselves. Nothing would bring me more joy than teaching a 100-level philosophy course and spending the rest of my life making kids fresh out of high school doubt everything they 'know'.
This leads me to DMT.
I have, in the past, recreationally used marijuana and maybe a hit or two of LSD. There's always been a curiosity for mind-expanding substances, but never the desire to interact with dealers or risk the possible legal consequences. Research for a religion course led me to Ayahuasca and various shamanic rituals. I found the whole Ayahuasca ceremony intriguing, but don't have the time or resources to travel to Peru. One thing led to another and I began researching my own ceremony. I ended up with a mimosa/caapi brew...
...which BLEW MY MIND!
This was exactly the catalyst I needed to spark a deeper understanding of the universe. Thanks to all you here, I have found a wonderous gift. I don't think I can drink another for awhile, but that's okay. I have plenty to chew on. Thanks again, Nexus! Without you this would be another research project long forgotten.
