THC PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE..........PLEASE READ

Ok so.

I'm looking for answers after a traumatic experience last night.

34 years old, smoked weed for 18 years. Very well versed in THC. I'm also a medicinal cannabis patient. So high levels of THC (as far as I'm concerned) is nothing new to me.

Last night I flew home from another country, got home and i had some new meds that had arrived through the post.
To be specific it was a tub of 'gascake' by 'mediquest' 31% THC

12:00 AM
Packed a bowl as normal, smoked it through water bong.
Blew it out and instantly knew something was different. You know what that strongest feeling "green" flavoured hit you've ever had? It was that x20. (Remember I'm no spring chicken to smoking) I was coughing, burping, trying to breathe. Made me sweat, dizziness, all the above, just like a strong bong does sometimes.
My partner seeing my reaction was reluctant to try it but I looked over at her and she was having some probably about 0.1g, so basically nothing.

12:20AM
This is where things get bad.
Over the next 20 minutes I walked around talking about how fucked up I am, looking in the mirror, talking to myself. I decided I needed to go lay down in bed, started to walk to my room and started to get a feeling that I was leaving my body, to say it was strange is an understatement. I tried to go to the kitchen to get a drink but got halfway and had to run back to the room because I thought I was going to pass out or something. I looked at my partner (she was in bed) and grabbed my pillows while still standing up and hugged them hard for comfort while at the same time i started screaming, NO! NO! NO! just under my left collarbone started vibrating like crazy, radiating, pulsing. I honestly thought I was having a heart attack, the feeling wasn't in the correct spot to be an attack (I don't think) but I'm not a doctor so I could be wrong.
This physical feeling came and went from a tightness to a full on vibration but only I could feel it. My partner said my body was normal and wasn't twitching/vibrating like I thought it was.
At this point I'm uncontrollable, I'm freaking out, it was like being in an acid trip from fucking hell without all the crazy visuals however there was definitely a visual side to it. Partner got me to the shower, and walked me in (she was fully clothed) and we stood there for about 15 minutes trying to calm me dowm. It's coming in waves every 5-10 minutes. At the peak of them waves I would scream. And when I say scream I mean scream.
The peak of these waves was also bringing mild hallucinations with it.
To say I was terrified I feel is an understatement.

12.45AM
Went and woke up another adult in the house as we were both not in our straight minds and as you've probably gathered I was exhibiting behaviour not common with smoking weed.
Sat on this person's floor until about 1.30AM and after alot of talking I slowly started to regain a bit of sanity but do not get the wrong impression. I was all fucked up to the point I was scared.

2.00AM
Finally managed to get to bed and pass out.

I woke up midday today feeling extremely scat as if I had taken alot of chemical something the day before. Reminiscent of a big night on MDMA or LSD, Still not right in the head but I'm not cooked and tripping like before.

Most profound experience I've ever had in my life and I feel like it should be recorded so yeah.......

Cheers for listening and if anyone has any insight into what maybe happened or wants to pm me I'd be forever grateful X

One love

That went through your system fast though!

12am to 2am?

Yes, test the material…

Also the pain could, potentially, and I ain’t no docta! ~ have been acute cardiac arrythmia?

I’m sorry you had to go through this experience!

From time to time, there have been reports in the medical literature of acute adverse cardiac effects following cannabis use, so that may or may not have been a plausible inference. It may be prudent to arrange some cardiac tests with a physician.

Really strong weed can get pretty crazy, even for an experienced user! Moral: always go in easy with a new batch…

If you feel there's any likelihood of unscrupulous behavior, the analysis route would be the way to go, with a special focus on synthetic cannabinoids.

My gut feeling is still that this was most likely an overdose of unexpectedly strong weed. Panic can bring its own set of biochemical complications.

I feel although it was a straight panic induced 'trip'
