Thats awesome you can pick your own Mullein. I use the fuzzy un open flowers in my blends not the leaf. I don't know if the leaf hits smoothly or harsh so give it a try and let us know. The Mullein I buy doesn't have open flowers just the lambs ear soft fluffiness.
