Very interesting posts. I completely agree with what you guys were stating about the spirituality vs scientific debates on here. Being a active student perusing my B.A. in Biology, I am intrigued on how DMT affects your body and mind. I grew interested about DMT after reading "The Spirit Molecule" by Dr Strassman, because it not only satisfied my scientific curiosity by providing a clinical and analytical approach to studying DMT with quality results, but that it also leaves the possibility of some sort of cosmological or spiritual "higher plane" of existence that can be unlocked by DMT itself. But, reading the session logs from that book and the posts from this website can only go so far. In order for me to understand whether a DMT experience is just a biological response of the nervous system when it reacts to psychedelic stimuli, or if it is some sort of spiritual phenomenon, I must experience it firsthand. Fortunately, I have a solid background in chemistry which should help me to perform a successful extraction. I'm currently in the process of gathering the materials I will need right now, and I will definitely post my extraction log for critique and discussion once I am done.
