The Contemporary Jazz thread

To me, contemporary jazz is one of the most beautiful genres of music. Apart from being very technical, as jazz usually is, there's something about it that resonates with me on a deeper level. Probably my favorite contemporary jazz band right now is GoGo Penguin:

I intend to share more examples in the near future. It's an interesting genre to listen to while journeying. Share your favorites, I'd love to explore more new music.
