The DMT Nexus and The Face of Death

Hello.

An interesting dmt experience was once had. I was travelling through a portal somewhere. I felt my life flashing before my eyes. It felt like all of time was crunching up in to one single moment. I had the distinct sense that I was about to die, and it was all leading to one single point, the point where it all ends. I was experiencing intense visual and emotional phenonmenon, and as I got closer to that one single point where it all came to a close, it became exponentially more intense. All this leading to a single point, that one pointedness where all of reality meets itself, and where there is no further to go because it is everything there is, and ever will be, all rolled in to one. I call that point of ultimate coming together, the DMT nexus.

I had the sense that once that ultimate point is reached, it would be the end of the universe. Not only that, but it would be the most scary, unimaginable nightmare come true, everything rolled in to one single point, and it is quite scary. Then, I had the sense that the point was reached, if only for a split second. The shocking thing was, that instead of being consumed by a super powerful white ball of energy, things suddenly took a bizarre turn. Everything collapsed, and there was a total return HOME. When that point was reached, a happy face exploded out of nowhere and basically said in a split second, "GOTCHA!! It was all a joke. Welcome home". I was blown away. It was all a joke!!!!! A JOKE!!!! What an anti climax. After the jack in the box thing appeared, the vision was over and I got up and continued on with the greatest trip of my life.

However, I also had the sense that I did not truly reach that nexus point, I had the sense that no one does unless they actually die. And I have no idea what happens after that joker comes to greet you. I was truly terrified of being consumed by time. Make no mistake, this wasn't so much pleasant as it was powerful and eartch shattering.

The picture is taken from an erotic cartoon called, "Lunatic Night". A mystical couple is having mystical sex, and it looks like their orgasm is going to cause the end of the world or something, but instead of breaking the world open, the orgasm just makes a jack in the box come out, as if to say, "good job, you're done". Very much like my experience.... like it was all leading somewhere unbelievably intense, and then instead some little innocent elf comes out and says it was all a joke. I watched this recently and the jack in the box struck me as very familiar.

However, I also had the sense that I did not truly reach that nexus point, I had the sense that no one does unless they actually die.

I've definitely had this sensation multiple times with breakthrough experiences. I feel like I go super deep and I'm about to understand all secrets, and then my ego pulls out leaving me back in my apartment.

A great experience, a honest thanks for sharing. Just how exactly is the face of death? Face of the ,jack-in-the-box-thing´, so to say,? Why am I asking? I´m gonna figure it someday. Well, maybe... Anyway, a honest thanks for sharing the experience again! Hope more´ll follow. Don´t forget to share them all here! Peace now...

During my most difficult DMT experience, I was absolutely convinced I had died. Not convinced that I was dying, or approaching death, but that I had crossed the point of no return and had died. It was unlike any DMT experience prior or since. It was so different from all other DMT experiences that it’s hard to even call it a DMT experience.

Yet I tend to agree with you regarding the “nexus”. There are places that can only be reached when one has actually died. All of our DMT experiences are the experiences of living human beings. Regardless of what we learn via DMT, what lies beyond this life remains a mystery.
