I don't think any of us here should claim to 'know' what a shaman means. I doubt Jessi is claiming to have lived in the jungle for 20 years studying under Don Jose - but if she (or others) wish to use the term loosely to describe what they're doing I don't see any issue - and definately no justification for other members of the forum to go on attack and say, "How dare you - you don't know what a shaman is BUT I DO!"
