When it comes to Plant Medicine & Mycology, we find ourselfs often interested in extracting which involves basic extractions on plant material, or propagation of genetics when it cones to Mycology or even Gardening.

Glassware, SAB, Flowhoods, agar,Chemicals and a Lab Library (Im very passionate about higher learning and a nice library is very useful in the lab, mine consists of pdf books on a tablet and computer. These files can be found all over the internet).

Often times we get interested in having a dedicated place to do such work; such as a personal home work space/Alchemy lab for pursuing chemistry experimentation on another activitys where a proper room and equipment can make these activitys safer, easier, more productive and professional.

We are making products that many of us consume, so we should strive to make the best; most professional products we can on a personal scale and proper equipment can help facilitate the process greatly

Lets face it, Glassware is sexy, the curves on a separatory funnel, the bubble butt of a Round bottom flask , the eye candy of a Allihn condenser or a property setup home Alchemy Lab invokes the nerd in us all!

Objective of this thread.:

I figured a thread dedicated to the home Chemistry/Alchemy Lab/Mycology lab could be beneficial to users.

A place to share your glassware, Lab Setups, Non watched Chemicals and DIY Equipment hacks, to help give members an idea of what others are using to accomplish and conduct their lab work.

I love reading about all things related to home Chemistry and Labwork, and get super excited to see how orhers are working and setting up their space, hacks they have discovered to build the best personal setup.

My home Laboratory was a section of rooms that housed my Chem Lab, Mycology Lab, Reloading Room, wine/alcohol celler and of course my 2 grow rooms and agar Closet. In it's haydsy it was my sanctuary; a place I could go geek out and pursue my hobbies with a focus and passion.

My workspace has been left abandoned for the past 4 yesrs. Due to life struggles and a security breach. Something to consider when setting up a home workspace Lab. Two of the most important aspects of a home Clandestine Lab is Saftey and Security. You can't have one without the other.

Before jumping the gun and sharing all things Glassware and Lab porn, some of the most overlooked equipment everyone should have before settings up such a work room or aquiring any other equipment shoud be Saftey Equipment! Never overlook the simplest of thing's as they could save your life or quality of life

Lab Equipment Prerequisite:

1)Saftey

A) Eye Protection
- Pretty self explanatory or maybe not ? Working with bases and acids there is good chance of getting some in your eyes. Lets be safe and use proper eye protection. You only get 1 set ( 2 eyes) in life and its desirable to see another day if things get FUBAR!

2) Gloves - Same as above Chemical burns are no laughing matter, any part of the skin that is at risk of coming into contact with Chemicals should be covered by proper PPE to lessen the risk of unwanted chemical exposure .

3)Fire Suppression - Some of the solvents we work with are highly Flammable , its better to have a way to safety extinguish a fire than none at all. Know what your working with and proper procedures to extinguish accidental fires in the lab.

.
4)MSDS Data sheets - these are free from manufacturers a.nd have a wealth of information about the products you are hanlllllolllllllldling. Print them out and read through them to know how to properly handle products. Better to have them on hand and understand them , than having to Google them when the need arises.

4)Chemistry Books (Lab Library) and a passion to learn and expand our minds... we are all very interested in DMT so this should be a given in us all.

One book ill suggest everyone shoukd read before setting up any workspace is " The Organic Chem Lab Survival Manual 11th edition ". Well worth the money.. deals wirh techniques, Saftey, equipment among other things. Reallt great resource. Educate yourself!

Older editions can be found online for free in PDF files. But don't stop there.

I'll share some glass porn, been dusting off the suit cases I have at the house will repatriate the suit cases i have stored st friends houses....
