This last year or so i've been meaning to build an educational resource on certain topics. Mostly self sustainability, traditional skills, cooking without electricity, growing ones own medicines (ethnobotanical and otherwise) and so on.
A library if you will.
People think only the nazi's burned books but people still do it to this day. Just look at the latest attack on the way back machine. It is my hope that I might collect at risk volumes to immortalize if only for a few people especially the more at risk media that might be threatened.
So, i'm making this post hoping that I might be able to convince nexians to contribute by mentioning or hopefully sharing content. I prefer that the content be educational, of sound credibility, and readily accessible.
Recently I found a resource on the nexus of great value and the contents were outdated with dead hyperlinks. Something that could be avoided by uploading a copy of the resource direct to the forum whenever possible or shared in private. The resource has since been updated by its author.
At the moment I have a bunch of youtube videos on Dmt, changa, salvia and Psilocybin that I will be ripping. I'll also be scouring the nexus for any doenloadsble teks like cybs for offline storage. As far as the ethnobotanical sections i'd like to see to it that i find resources on plant care, production, safe usage, and the pharmacology of the plant medicines and how they effect society and culture. Once i'm in a better position i'm hoping members like Acacia. Might be willing to help by writing their own "books" on their own specialties or help gather educational resources on the topics they specialize in. I'd like to avoid hard synthetics but would like to include any and all plant medicines possible in this resource.
Any suggestions on where to find documents and media or suggestions on things to look for would be appreciated. I'm still not sure how I will go about storing and organizing all of this data just yet. But this is pretty important to me and my personal goals over the next few years.
My biggest concern about keeping it readily available online is that the compiled resource might be attacked, corrupted, interrupted and so on.
At the moment this is just a thought slowly taking shape.
Thanks for your time and any contributions you may have to the library.i'm working on getting my digital security put together and am planning on using PGP. If you would like to contribute a bit more anonymously or securely please ask for my public pgp key. I'm still looking for a way to make it readily publicly available in the forum
