Rising Star
Last night I loaded my my pipe with a medium sized pile of spice, sandwiched between two layers of Mullein. I put on some music, lit a few candles, started Electric Sheep(An awesome free 3d fractal screensaver, that constantly evolves based on the Mandelbrot set, AND used input. If you don't have it of it I'd recommend checking it out), and started my Journey. It usually takes me three to four hit to lift off, but this time I only needed two. Not sure why. As I exhaled the first hit, I began to feel, that warm, all encompassing emotion sweep over me, enveloping me in the cosmic embrace. Joy, Gratitude, and Love, filled my being. After the second rip I looked at my desk, and saw flashes of light moving across my walls, very, very quickly. I laid back, and closed my eyes, and instantly felt energy pulsing near my Solar Plexus. As always with me, it took me three breaths to push through the Mandala, and as soon as I was through, I drifted (The only way I can describe it. I definitely wasn't walking. Not having a body makes that kinda difficult 
) up a set of stairs, past two pillars in front of a huge doorway. The doorway opened, and I found myself moving though a Palace made of some sort of light green material, constantly moving, shifting, and morphing. At times I noticed vine-like patterns on the walls, and floors. Now this is where I think it gets interesting. I started drifting through a hallway with high ceiling, lined with pillars. At the end of the hall I saw my Mom and Dad, walking through this Palace. They didn't look like they do now, but younger, like in the photos I've seen of them when they first met, before I was born. They were talking but I couldn't hear what they were saying. It was like I was watching them through a pane of glass. I remember saying out loud "Mom And Dad!" mid journey. I could feel myself coming back, honestly I was sad to go. But the feeling has stayed with me longer than usual this time. But anyways, as I was coming back the black in front of my eyelids, swirled gently, easing me back to this reality. I opened my eyes, still fairly affected, and gazed at my computer screen. Fascinated by Electric Sheep, I laid there long after the effects of the spice had worn off, lost in a deep state of introspection. Durning this time my ego slowly reasserted itself. Bringing with it, sense of time and place, the knowledge of my name, age, and gender. Slowly I sat up, breathed deep, and proceeded, to smoke a cigarette, which helped ground me, along with the chill of the night.
So I went to work today, and felt more centered and able to deal with difficult people. The feeling I described earlier stayed with me through out the day, still lingering now almost 24 hours later. All in all the Spice has once again been nothing but amazing!
