Yes - I usually can inhale a full dose in about 15-20 seconds (although the bulk of the dose is vaporized all at once and is inhaled in a second or so). I then hold it for as long as I can – usually another 15-20 seconds or longer. How long depends on how quickly I start drifting off – I like to exhale and get a breath of fresh air before I “leave”.

If you inhale for only 5 seconds and then exhale after 2 seconds, most of the little bit you inhaled is wasted.
