Mystify your Mind
Hello everyone,
This forum has been a huge help in allowing me to decipher the meaning behind my own experiences. I'm sure that many fellow souls (myself included) would feel alone if it were not for this forum. That being said, I'm proud to be a part of this community!
Below is more of a trip report concerning my first experience than an introduction essay... the essay will come later on in this thread. However, I feel that I cannot adequately express why I would like full membership without first describing my experience.

As many of us tend to do, I had spent a long while browsing the forums before joining. Last night I had the opportunity to vaporize a ~65mg dose of spice in the comfort of my own bed.
Both my girlfriend and I have considerable experience with various psychedelics and RC's. Needless to say, we were very eager to take the plunge. What followed was most definitely not what I had expected.
I had initially felt a small bit of anxiety in regards to smoking spice, but wrote this off to anticipation and having been reminded of an uncomfortable experience with salvia. I had decided to use approx. ~16g of nitrous before the experience, to calm my nerves. I am becoming more convinced that this was where I was asking for trouble. I will elaborate later.
After holding the first lung-full of vapor in for at least ten seconds, I slowly exhaled. To my surprised I had tasted nothing unpleasant or harsh... and the potency of this hit was becoming distinctly obvious. I held in another long haul- at that point my entire field of vision began to ripple and divide into a cellular pattern. I do not remember exhaling this last draw of vapor.
I quickly laid back down onto my pillow and closed my eyes. What followed was unlike anything I have ever experienced. There was a distinctly organic yet digital sound that I attributed to the entity who led me through this experience. The sound was constant as I was pulled into my consciousness by my third-eye and completely lost any sense of my body. I was in my conscious mind but I suddenly felt that I was being integrated into another plane / dimension / existence with a program(?) that used ribbons of color that exactly resembled an extra-dimensional variation of the "Mystify your Mind" screensaver from Windows 95. Below is an example of this screen-saver.

There was a raw feeling of being programmed by something alien- but all of this was quickly interrupted. Something had obviously gone wrong. The being that was aiding me through my journey suddenly became offended... or at least it became aware of something that it knew I had done wrong. The next thing I knew I was no longer lying down. I was sitting up with my eyes open, sitting at the end of the bed and looking at my girlfriend. She looked at me and said "What's wrong sweetie?". The look of horror on her face confused me, as I had not remember the last five or so seconds.
Before I knew what was happening, I was suddenly lying back down, opening my eyes and feeling panicked. I knew something was wrong. At this point I had asked my girlfriend to leave the room. She politely complied and walked out of the room. After apparently yelling in terror for a few moments, I suddenly cried out "I miss my mother. I miss my girlfriend." I also remember thinking "I miss my brother. My dog!". My girlfriend re-entered the room at this point and stood, silhouetted against the wall, and said "What's wrong sweetie?". The look of horror on her face confused me. Before I knew what was happening, I was suddenly lying back down, opening my eyes and feeling panicked.
This loop repeated itself a number of times until it finally ended quickly by reintegrating back into my linear concept of time. I was unaware that it had ended and was slowly coming back to my senses. I looked away from my girlfriend and was staring into the blank wall in front of me. I was faced with an eight foot, higher-dimensional being's compound eye that consisted of geometric shapes that I had never seen before, flowing in a manner that was beyond our realm. I broke down in tears and requested that I be released out of the loop... before realizing that I was finally out. The eye slowly dissolved. The next ten minutes were spent in bed, next to my girlfriend, in absolute horror and awe. The visuals at this point are hard for me to remember.
The only time I had ever experienced anything indicative of fractal time was under the influence of nitrous. I have come to understand, through reflection of prior experiences and posts on this message board, that this was more than likely caused by a lack of respect on my part. Using a dissociative drug before welcoming the entities that await is simply put, disrespectful. At FULL attention everyone!
If you're interested in reading more about "The Loop" there is a fantastic thread that discusses this collective experience. I'm not the only one this has happened to!
