I definitely feel like it is possible that I was being made aware of how disrespectful it was to casually use nitrous before the experience. In retrospect, I recognize how arrogant this would have seemed to an entity attempting to put energy into helping me move beyond myself.

You mention refined sugar? That is very interesting... I am going to make an attempt to significantly cut down on my intake. I will try to completely abstain from that as well before a 'vision quest'. Still having a hard time describing the experience with one word. 'Trip' seems a little disingenuous.
