To me it is the backdrop which we cannot normally see. It is always there, just hidden to us unless we have the key.

yes :) Life and existence are psychedelic!

Patterns repeating itself over and over at different scales, processes of evolution and involution unfolding against a mysterious dynamic background, while the Ultimate Question whispers itself in one's ears, knowing beforehand it only seeds curiosity and cannot be answered by our simple minds... The Cosmic Giggle
 
Many projections are about life.
For somebody with higher intelligence these projections can be very convincing.

But after all, under the influence of much MJ or Psychedelics these projections vanish and the false projections can disappear.
