A year long search that started with me questioning who we are and what I really am. Finally ending in the experience I can only describe as: enlightning, exciting, terifying, and loving. Thank you friend who seen me lost and led me to a wonderful answer. Now if only the world could find DMT!

Only to open many more doors to discover. How wonderfully lost I am. cheers to the NEXUS.

Hello and Welcome =D may peace be with you
The world is not ready to discover spice.

Respect and Regards

Howdy neighbour!

When the world is ready for spice, spice will find the world! Just as it has you.

Welcome to the Nexus!

I should state, I really don't think the world is quite ready for this kind of enlightenment. I will say that it is too bad it isn't ready. thanks for the feed back.

cheers,

^ When you say that the world is not ready for the 'enlightenment' that DMT offers (I only put the word in quotes because I'm not quite sure it's the best word - let's just say, the 'perspective' allowed by DMT), exactly what harm do you think would arise if the world were exposed to it?

For me its the harm that could come if generally one went dosing random people around with a psychedelic, let alone a quite powerfull one such as DMT. By the way, such an approach has been tried in the past (mainly with other psychedelics) and the results were less than stellar: check out the 60's.Its also a hmmm...quite stereotyped stage in the "psychedelic growth" of a person, usually seen in people with lots of enthusiasm for having discovered this class of substances : they want to dose the world, its the "psychedelics in the watersupply" scenario :d .

You could expect some psychotic reactions, some panic attacks ,the whole assortment of such stuff. This is not only a fuction of "readiness" (which can dangerously sound like "worthyness" ) but also the sum of who is a person and what situation he/she is into: the human individuals come in many flavors, even in smaller choices you can see those subtle -or not so subtle- differences that make them better geared toward different life paths! Now, here some people that consider it "panacea" (hmmm be weary of "panaceas") ) or "instant enlightment" might oppose to what i say.Its what you consider it to be: if you consider enlightment or <insert your favorite term> an intrinsic quality of those substances no matter who is the person or what is he/she into, then yes it only takes contact with the substance to "see the truth", "be enlightened" ,<insert goal you believe you are achieving through it>. I dont consider it intrinsic though...I think it takes a wee bit more than someone smoking 50-60 mg of DMT.

Well put! It's definitely a common sentiment among new users of psychedelics and I'm sure we've all entertained the thought at some point in our lives.....Ha! Who doesn't know that feeling after an intense acid trip when you just think "Wow, if only everyone could experience THAT!".

It's just naive to think that psychedelics will change the world in one fell swoop but I think the sentiment itself is well meant. I agree that the world at large isn't ready to experience having their entire sense of self deconstructed, some people can't even cope with the thought of losing their hair never mind losing their sense of concensus reality! That's just with regards to LSD so the prospect of mass DMT consumption would be, as far as I can tell, disastrous.

Nice discussion by the way!

The rookie syndrom is not really for me friends. It was such beautifull experience that it had a very profound effect on my conciousness. this statement of "dosing individuals with out knowledge" I find disgusting and quite painfull. We are all beings of energy, now whether or not we choose to be negative energy or positive energy is an individuals choice. I for one choose the positive side of things always. Spread love, friendship and caring in all aspects of life: business, family, friends and so forth. I promise you the reward is far greater that one moment of scaring the hell out of someone for their own personal sick enjoyment.

I am going to post my first travel on the DMT today, and perhaps after reading that you will understand my statement of wanting to share with the world. Let's all not forget that we don't own this experience ie: life, so lets all be aware that some things in life are really worth sharing, and certainly if it will improve the lives of others around us. I find in life sometimes when people discover things so profound they tend to want to keep it to themselves. I am not one of those individuals.
