The Shulgin Index

Migrated topic.

Ginkgo

Rising Star
This summer our beloved Alexander 'Sasha' Shulgin will publish the first volume of his masterpiece, The Shulgin Index. This volume will be about phenethylamines, and can be pre-ordered through this link. The second and last volume will be about tryptamines, although a publishing date is yet to be known.

Here's a little teaser pic taken at MAPS:

I am really looking forward to this one!! 8)

Are these like Pihkal and Tihkal v 2.0 science plus ? One could say that one should wait to get this if one doesn't have the classic ones?

They do have much of the same information as PiHKAL and TiHKAL do, but with much more scientific information, and they include many more compounds than the original books. See the attached picture in the first post for details. I also believe The Shulgin Index is not going to contain subjective experience reports such as the other books. If you are interested in the subject, I think you should own PiHKAL and TiHKAL as well as all volumes of the upcoming Shulgin Index.

By the way, the word is now that the first volume of The Shulgin Index - which features psychedelic phenethylamines, amphetamines, phenylpiperazines and related compounds - will be finished late 2010.

This will be massive. I pre-ordered my copy in April!
I'm not that much into Phens, but the wealth of information presented will be huge, as can be seen in the poster. I just hope for some binding activities at neuro receptors!

Released, realeased, released !
