Hello.

My name is javan.

Five months ago, after beating my head against the wall and careful consideration, I dropped out of community college to live in Los Angeles, CA to finally make that final push in my path to be a full time screenwriter/director. I'm 21, and was making incredible progress (had been writing and studying film for years), but writing is a lonely profession, locked in a room for 22 hours of the day... nothing but your mind, time, and the internet.

At one point I watched a Joe Rogan video on how we're all "fucking human beings" and to be honest with yourself to be the best evolved version of you that you could be. So I looked at myself in the mirror and started asking questions--

Questions led to opening my eyes to the world, or as The Matrix would put, I woke up:
- Government corruption (on a mass and evil scale)
- DMT
- Quantum mechanics
- The "war on drugs"
- Principles of freedom and rights
- History
- Spirituality (Flower of Life, Astral Projection, God, The Cosmos, etc)
- Alien life
- The Universe
- Timewave Zero, 2012, calenders
- The Illuminati
- John Lennon, MLK Jr., John F. Kennedy
- The Economy / Federal Reserve
- CIA
- Che Guevara / Revolutionary tactics
- Technology / singularity
- EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm now back on the track to get a degree from school, not so I can get some ridiculous high-paying job to pay for things I don't need, but to surround myself with like-minded people who want to take a realistic and radical plan of action to act as a catalyst for this impending change, and to unite and elevate mankind to what it can be against all forms of evil and corruption!

First of all, I agree with what you said about individuals taking a position of
stance to hold their rights in place. Hit dead home with that one, buddy.
Secondly, screenwriter is an interesting occupation, what type of film are you
interested in? Is there anything in particular that draws you to the Nexus?

Yes, bassmethod, a global shift in consciousness is occurring, but I am sure as hell going to get in the face of those that are oppressing the world.
I won't stand for it anymore... our bodies will die one day in this world, why not shoot for the top and make a better life for those to come.

I'm into ALL film, I try my best to not be a one-trick pony. Sci-Fi, psychological horror, action, and crime drama are my specialities, but I still work around comedy and other genres.

SWIM's story is actually what drew me to the Nexus:

I had been around here after googling some questions, and decided that this community feels right to be in, something I can gain from it, and hopefully offer in return :)
