Hey and welcome

I completely agree with the posts above - nothing, absolutely nothing, can prepare you for a breakthrough. At least I wasn't :surprised

As for preparations - prepare to meet your greatest fears. Prepare to meet your true self. Prepare to meet God (Aya, mother Nature, Gaia or whatever you believe in) - you will meet it or, at least, get a glimpse of it's might. And no, I don't know how one could prepare himself/herslef for an experience like this.

As endlessness adequately put it - even after being 'there', you never really acclimatise to such a place/experience. Or so I think
