So I've been lurking the Nexus for some time now and finally decided to post to introduction in order to become an official member of this amazing community.
Here's a brief look into my past as it relates to psychedelics. Growing up I had zero interest in drugs of any kind, not sure why, it just never seemed like my kind of thing. It wasn't until I was 19 that a friend talked me into trying MDMA and then mushrooms a week later. I immediately fell in love with the psychedelic experience. From that moment on I read every book relating to psychedelics that I could get my hands. I wanted to learn as much as I possibly could...and still do, everyday I am learning something new.
Several months after my intro to mushrooms I was able to procure some LSD and had several amazing trips on it. That was 8 years ago and I have only gotten my hands on acid one more time since then.
About 3 years ago a friend of mine had gotten a hold of some 2c-e and since then this has been my most used psychedelic. I've read that a lot of people don't particularly like it but I absolutely love it. It gives me that same energized feeling as LSD but the visuals seem a bit more complex.
Now I've known about DMT for some time now. I, like most everybody else here, read Dr. Strassman's book when it first came. It wasn't until last year that I realized how simple it was to make and decided to attempt an extraction. For my first attempt things went very well...about 2 grams of pure white crystals.
I have the utmost respect for this sacrament and realize that it is by no means a recreational drug. I am still very much a rookie when it comes to DMT but my experiences with it continue to take me deeper and deeper into an amazing universe. While I continue to learn from this community hopefully I will be able to contribute just as much.
