The Time has come

Rising Star
Hi everyone,

I am a 48 year old male who has significant experience of the usual psychedelics - LSD mushrooms, MDMA 2CB, 2CI etc. In my youth, I was a prodigious consumer of acid in particular, but as time went on I found I was less interested in giggling hysterical and being amazed by the colours. I found I preferred to use on my own where I could be calm and introspective, where I found both acid and mushrooms to be valuable and powerful teaching and learning tools.

Through my reading, I had always been aware of DMT but didn't know anyone who had experienced it and so it remained an elusive substance, exotic and intangible. Over the last few years my interest in DMT and its potential for growth and understanding has grown and grown, its almost as if I can feel it calling me. Still, I knew no one who could introduce and guide me; and then I discovered the Nexus. I wish to thank you all for sharing your knowledge, experiences and wisdom and for creating such a positive and welcoming space, you have all become my guide.

Well, the Time has come and I have just had my first experience. Following (what I considered to be) extensive research, I brewed 8g of MHRB with 3g of Syrian Rue. My first lesson? No matter how much research you think you've done - do some more! Subsequent reading would suggest that this was at the higher end of the dosing scale, it was certainly an intense experience.

I am so impressed with other posters experience reports, I don't have the language skills (or recall) to try and do my experience justice. I felt buffeted by cosmic forces, like stepping out into a metaphysical storm. I was awed by its power but felt completely safe at the same time.

I feel privileged to have stepped through the door to meet you all and I look forward to exploring this space.
