Time to begin

Greetings to the Nexus! Thanks to all those whose posts have led to my learning and now my first post. Ive been reading from this site for some time now and now I'm at the point where I feel I should introduce myself. I learned about dmt 3 years ago, and after many hours of researching the chemical(this became a deep interest for a long time) i decided to act on my thoughts and have prepared most of what I need as well as reading several teks. I plan on beginning my process tomorrow and if anybody has a Tek in particular using lye and naphtha that they think is good id love to check it out. More importantly I would greatly appreciate some insights and/or tips/suggestions for the preparation of the mind, body, and soul; particularly interested in preparing my body. All comments are welcome!

Thanks for taking some time to introduce yourself and give us a bit of info so we can get to know ya.
I would probably suggest a noman tek, which can be found in the wiki it's tried and true.
Preparing the body and mind is something you will learn through trial and error, and I've compiled some basic info in the first dotted link in my signature below to offer some perspective.

Great its good to hear from you and to have your welcome. I have read the norman Tek and will gladly take your advice! I have seen your diagram before and thought that was really helpful. I want to start with a common process to get used the projects, but I'm really interested in building a strong base of knowledge and experience to achieve the soundest extractions. Yes I very much look forward to the chemistry! Thanks again and if I run into questions that I cant find the answer I will send you a message.

Regarding extraction, dont forget to check the FAQ out. I think the most important is that you read a few different teks to understand what the process is all about, why each step is performed.
