He totally agrees with both comments, and will most likely have the full breakthrough experience on a product he has extracted himself.  The normal "let's learn a little bit before the adventure with an unknown substance" turned into a lot of research into the matter.  The more he read, the deeper he got, and the deeper he got, the more respect he gained.  He feels that the only way to avoid bad karma with such a powerful substance is to establish a personal relationship with it.  He was not aware that the extraction process was so simple, and will definitely be using some of the Teks found on here till one that suits him well is found.  He does feel better knowing that his current spice wasn't directly purchased, but still feels it necessary to better establish himself with the substance. 

An experience was had with Salvia a number of years ago that led to these beliefs.  Being young and dumb, he jumped right into it, thinking nothing of what he was doing.  After a slap on the wrist and a stern talking to from Sally herself while shooting through the cosmos in a state of complete ego loss, he learned a great deal about respecting nature's gifts.  Fortunately she was very kind and understanding about the matter.
