Hello,
I thought I'd share SWIM's experiences thus far as the first post on this board.
The first experience was this June, after his wife perked interest in extracting DMT.
The test run produced some very beautiful OEV's, in the shape of spiralling slivers of stained glass
shards. He did not for some time experience any beings or anything more than a visual of being in a large
dark room with shimmering walls.

For the most part his mind is blacked out during the experiences and virtually no content is recalled.
All this changed one early morning at a music festival in a tent while in the middle of a LSD experience.
The intention was not to experience a breakthrough, but to see how the two substances interacted, so SWIM
only took in a couple fairly light tokes from the machine bong and layed back to see where he was taken.

As the awareness slipped away he suddenly found himself in a yellow walled room with 3d squiggles and lines popping
out of the wall. Before him stood a tall being, reminiscent of a black faceless man wearing a long yellow robe.
Only eyes were visible upon the face, along with what could only be describes as mandibles around the jaw line.
Very insect like in the face.
Interaction with this being was with its hair! The hair was dreadlocks that were actually long snakes that reached out and gently
prodded and caressed his skin.

With such a dark face and figure some might experience this is fearful, however the feeling was nothing as such. If anything SWIM felt
lifted and gifted with the touch and presence of the strange being.
After this interaction, its head began lifting from its body, causing the snakes to majestically drape down and the head began to swirl away
in the figure of an infinity symbol.

SWIM was left alone in this room to take in the experience. As he stood (?) there he began to hear a faint voice coming from all around.
The voice became louder and louder until he realised that the voices where SWIM's own thoughts being spoken back to him, in a strange
blippy, zippy, popping tone. SWIM thought "Oh my god I'm on DMT!" and it came back as alien voiced dialogue.

It was immediately after this that lucidity struck. He opened his eyes to see the tent writhing around him, and ran over the
experience several times in his head until he was sure to remember it.
Then closing his eyes he fell right back into this room and played with the voices more, which now were noted to effect the lines
and figures squiggling across the wall.

After coming too again he soaked in this crazy alien contact he had experienced and excitedly shook his wife awake beside him to tell her the experience.
(Both were wearing earplugs to muffle the sound of the music being played in the forest)

SWIM has since begun drawing the being witnessed and will surely post it once complete. He wished he had the drawing skill
to illustrate everything he saw, for the detail is exquisite!

Hi,

Wonderful experience:!:

It sounds like there is a great difference in the amount of a "theraputic", "normal" and "heroic" dose amongst individuals.

A friend of mine started out at a commonly low/moderate dose (20-30mg) which provided visuals, black-out, then interesting visuals and thoughts at the come down.
He later found out that just heating the (now) empty vaporizing device and drawing hot air through it would provide visuals and interesting thoughts. There couldn't have been more than max 2-3mg condenced on the walls of the device.

So I guess the question is:
How does one find the right dosage?
Could it be by starting very small, going stronger and stronger until?, then backing off rapidly until the entire experience can be recalled:?:
There seems to be much hype about the "need to break through". What if the place before "breaking through" is like a sand box, where one can learn how to control the experience - and bring it back at the end.

Regarding your vision, I think everybody is eager to take a look at it :d
Unfortunately any skill takes practice, but by trying over and over one gets better and better 😉

(It would be great if we could interact and learn like they do in the Matrix movies - but ultimately, wouldn't it end up with "us" becoming merely machines?)

Have a great time!

Starting very small and going stronger sounds like a great idea to me. SWIM discovered DMT about a month ago and started with roughly 15mg the first time. He very recently tried 60mg which provided his first "breakthrough" experience - one that left him in tears (of joy :)).

OP - I am definitely looking forward to seeing that illustration! It sounds amazing.

Welcome dude

I too wish I could express my sights by means of art.

Starting small is a good idea to see what your comfy with. I can say that changa might be a good option, it gives you so much more time to explore.

I wish that I could properly describe my trips, DMT especially, in words much less in art. I don't consider myself much of an artist and feel that I would be limited by colors, media, and talent to represent it properly by using art, either. I'm working on translating the experience and lessons learned into real world language and response slowly but surely.
