Greetings,
so i decided to join this very special forum because two days ago i finally did my first steps...it was pretty fast and i have some problems remembering but what i remember really impressed me. But i want to discover more of this realms so i think this forum can give me the support i need...the feedback is really heart-warming here!!:d

I'm very interested in spirituality since i discovered some nice books in the book shelf of the parents of my girlfriend:eek:sho, carlos castaneda, christian rätsch and yogananda. I love the books and story's of terence mckenna, that guy just is a big influence on me! Beside that music is very important to me and i play a little guitar myself. My english is not perfect because i´m from belgium.
I've recently done an extraction and i used the natureboy tek from the shroomery, and i ended up with 1,4 g of off white, fluffy dmt powder...and i was just so happy after the first try-out:WAAOOW, i did it!!!!

In the past i tried various other substances but the psychedelics are just what i like best, a way to look inside,see life from another perspective and not just something like mdma or speed wich i think are pretty superficial...

So tonight i will hit hyperspace again, of course i'll share the whole thing(hope i remember more) with you guys...peace, and that the world may be filled with the open-minded!!!

I heard from several people, that it depends a lot on the dose how much and what you can remember. If you have too much is less. Here are many very experienced people, so i feel not so secure giving any substant advice, but maybe you can look if you find more out about this part of using.

good point, many of us feel the same way.

interesting name, btw... looks similar to 'teonanacatl', the aztec word that roughly translates to 'god's flesh'..the psilocybin mushroom.

I agree, the feedback here is great- there are so many people here who are smarter and more experienced with the spice than I.

I like that.

Remembering experiences certainly is difficult. At one time I took to using a bluetooth earpiece to record my thoughts directly to my mobile whilst still under the influence- worked quite well but of course translating experiences can be a distraction. Later, when listening to the recordings many memories came back which would otherwise have been lost forever.

I too play a little guitar (badly) 😉

I can assure you that your english is better than mine - and I'm from England. :d

I too am interested in spirituality but haven't read nearly enough. The authors you mentioned have given me some leads to follow. I have read the works of the late Jiddu Krishnamurti many times and would suggest that you check him out. Any one of his works would give a flavour of the rest. In my humble opinion he is, like the spice, 'the real thing'.

It's a great feeling having successfully completed your first extraction isn't it!

well yes the name is indeed my personal variation on the word 'tenanacatl'. I recently bought myself a cubensis growbox and i can recommend it to everyone, it's a fun thing to do and you get A LOT of mushies!
Yes i probably did to much the first time...
Just wanted to add that psychedelics and spirituallity are the perfect marriage, and to me also a sort of proof that the the whole spiritual thing is not some kind of nonsense..i will definately check out krishnamurti, i think i've read his biography in another book.

Congrats on your mushies, but I'd recommend you google "PF tek" and start reading... growkits are a huge waste of money, since making your own substrates and fruiting chambers is cheap, easy and produces a hell of a lot more mushrooms.

Hi L_Star,

SWIM extracted 1,4g from 100g powdered mimosa, he didn't do a recrystalisation. He smokes it with a Vaporstar vap wich is very smooth on the longs, it took him some practice and eventually he found out the trick!

It's easy to do it homemade, and a lot more rewarding ^^ A big part of PerpLExED's mushroom experience was cultivating them, he still keeps pictures of his precious babies from the moment he injected them <3

If you do it right, you can continue to grow couple of keys of mushies ofr ~$50 with making casings(Which aren't very difficult). You'll have more than enoguh for you and all your friends :]
 
well SWIM will give the cultivation a try, actually he wanted to try the pf tek but SWIM's girlfriend became all paranoid about ordering spore prints in the internet so SWIM drove to The Netherlands and bought himself a box!:) And SWIM's glad he did!
 
Ordering spore prints is nothing to be paranoid about. They are perfectly legal, and besides you only need to order them once.

Actually since you have the growkit you don't even need to order them, you could just take spore prints from the harvests of the growkit.

PF tek is for the beginners. It's an easy way for someone new to growing to learn the basics. Most people after doing 1-2 succesfull PF tek grows graduate on to grain spawns and bulk substrates.

Some good combinations are rye spawned to manure or wbs spawned to coir.

For bulk substrates, coir is probably the easiest to prepare. All you need to do is pour some boiling water on to a bowl with some coir and leave it covered for a few hours, when it cools it's done.

Preparing grain spawn is easy, but you'll need a pressure cooker, otherwise don't even think about it. If you don't own one you can still spawn crushed PF cakes to a bulk substrate, this will also bring larger yields than PF cakes alone.

There are lots of teks on grain prep out there, but generally, you soak them in warm water overnight, then boil them quickly, maybe for 5-10 minutes, then drain them and let them dry overnight or until the outside of the grain is dry, then load into jars and pressure cook. Make a note that unlike in the PF tek, your jars need to be equipped with adequate filters and preferably also with injection ports.

Tip: you can make jar filters from micropore tape (aka. gentle paper tape), and injection ports can be made from silicone gel.

Oh, almost forgot. Pressure cooking times for pint jars are 1h 30min at 15psi. 2h for quart jars.

Liquid culture all the way, inoculated onto wheat. I use large oven bags with an improvised plastic lid arrangement (developed by me). For each bag that takes I get possibly 2 to 3 kilograms of spawn. Fruit in plastic buckets with coir/verm casing.
Its works like magic.

I prep wheat by putting in pot with excess water, bringing to boil, simmer for 10 minutes, cover and let sit for 90 minutes, bag for sterilisation.
