TOOL IS ON TOUR 2014!!!

Migrated topic.
Okay, since this one includes the year in the title, it must be about the current tour.

Man, I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go!I HAVE NEVER SEEN TOOL, AND LOVED THEN SINCE OPIATE.

The bum trip is, tix are really expensive from what I hear and I'm currently broke as hell. All my extra resources just went the Ebay-way....
:(

Thank you. Thank you. I love tool, seen a perfect circle, but not tool. Tickets go on sale on Friday for my area and I will be going. Thank you.

The best part about this is that they ALWAYS start out slow with like 5 shows...then they add 2...then 12...then theyre on tour for 2 years.

Then again probably not since theyre working on a new album. THATS when theyll do the 3 shows add 2 add 12 add 2 years. Then theyll disappear for eleventeen years :(

^^^ I hope you're right about them doing a ton of tours AFTER the new album. I can't wait! If I get another chance to see them, I'm not going to miss it again. Not for anything.:| (serious face)

If anybody remembers, Tool toured for longer then two years after 10,000 days came out. I feel like they are touring right now to get everyone hyped about the new album and also possible keep them together for long enough to finish it.

So far i have seen Tool, Puscifer and APC live multiple times and they have never disappointed. Tickets are still reasonably priced at $50-$75 bucks depending on which show you see and seats you prefer. However the VIP tix are outrageous! however i hear they are worth it... something i could never afford.

I am pretty sure i will be seeing them in Las Vegas this March, hoping my tax return hits my bank before tickets sell out haha.

and too the previously posted about NIN touring during the peak of Tool's post.... duuuuuuude.
I guess it is like the difference between the Beatles and Elvis. You can like both, however one of them will always be your favorite.

I take it you've never seen them live? 😉

nope, I saw NIN live. that was around the same time Tool peaked.

tool peaked lol. every album is another stage of personal psychological development. nearly all of tool is based on the same principles and ideas that most psychonauts/nexians follow. not sure how a psychodelic band who "gets it" could peak.

lol

their music is/was distinct, idiosyncratic...from what i've heard from their production in recent years, it sounds the same.

^^^whoa, now that's a serious face. Right. On.

I was unaware of the apparent dichotomy between NIN and Tool. Just so everyone's clear, Tool is by far my favorite of the two, but I think most people can at least respect NIN's talent, fan or not.

it's cool if you're into Tool. I think Phish still tours too..

^^
What exactly are you trying to prove besides the fact that you yourself has no interest in Tool? If anything you are attempting to project your meaningless opinion on some true Tool fans. Which will in the end, prove an absolutely useless expenditure of your energy.
