forests, remote beaches, deserts
are places where nature itself seems to communicate
sometimes through symbols that you wouldn't normally be able to see
like the square knots in the fire wood...anyone seen those?
extraordinarily intricate.

And dont forget about spelunking trips. Deep in a cave inside mother earth, turn off your flashlight and watch as the pitch darkness come to light in a astounding visual display. As long as there is no water in your cave you may also enjoy complete silence.
Just make sure to pick a cave that has no dangerous climbing or slick surfaces and watch out for stalactites and stalagmites. Dont go to deep and get lost, and make sure to tell a friend that you have gone spelunking. If you do not return someone will know were to find you. I would recommend this for experienced seekers as a cave can be a scary place even though there is no reason to fear.
No knots but plenty of time when voyaging at night rocks and trees began to take on form of one thing or another. And without communicating verbally as to what these things resemble(that rock looks like a mushroom, that tree is a old man ect...) many times all of us 3 or 4 peeps would tell one another and we saw the same thing.
