hey everyone, I'm new here and I just wanted to share some thoughts...

I just took a full dose of DMT for the second time and I can't believe what just happened...

is this actually a drug? there has to be some kind of cosmic force behind this...

It was like I was integrated into some quantum field.. physically connected to everything.. held together with some magnetic binding energy.... everything that could possibly happen was all happening at the same time, all of the potential in the universe was unleashed at once.. whole other worlds and planes of existence... encompassing everything in the entire history of the universe... like a magnetic cloud of energy... I could literally feel the weight of our collective existence, and we were soaring beyond everything, inviting new energies and lifeforms into our collective body...

I'm not sure what to say really, this "DMT world" seems 100% real... to call it a "drug" seems grossly inaccurate

Hi blackfish,

Welcome to Nexus. Remarkable isn't it? To me taking a good dose of DMT doesn't feel like a drug, rather it feels like a complete transposition in both space and time. It feels hyperdimensional. I guess that's why it's called "hyperspace."

Would you be willing to share a bit more about yourself, who you are, your psychedelic and/or consciousness exploration experience, etc? Hope to learn a bit more about you.

Again, welcome.

Spice can be deeper than deep for sure. This is why we love it so! And yes, it is a very cosmic experience :d Welcome aboard!

I agree with you wholeheartedly, there is a "cosmic force" behind the teachings of entheogens/psychedelics, especially Ayahuasca and extracted Spice. I personally feel that powerful molecules like NN-DMT are Sacred Medicines and not "drugs" in the typical sense of the word. Although, I do believe that DMT, psilocybin, LSD and mescaline act like bridges within our neurochemistry, which reveal what is already here, unbeknownst to our everyday selves.

You have touched a transcendental experience which is as natural and on some levels, necessary for our species... as our personality development, career, family and need to find meaning in our lives (and for our very existence). Kudos, friend!!! 8)

We find ourselves crossing the thresholds of supraconsciousness (or perhaps one could say Universal Consciousness). That being said, it is a chemical substance and despite it's capacity to facilitates temporary enlightenments, we need to reflect on the truths we are shown by the experience and find ways to bring this into our return journey back into "reality".

This naturally initiates a desire to find this state of mind, a living connection to the unified field of awareness, in our normal, waking consciousness. I believe that this is why these powerful substances are considered Sacred Teachers.

I salute your realization about the interconnected oneness of being! You are most welcome to the fold. :d

I appreciate the warm welcome, but I'm still trying to figure out what exactly it is that I experienced...

I'm used to seeing new things, coming up with new ideas, and integrating them into my understanding of the world.

The only problem here is I'm not sure what the hell I actually experienced. Is this limited to the drug I was on? If I had taken 5-meo-dmt would that "ultimate space" have been somehow different?

I've taken shrooms & LSD, but I never took out anything truly meaningful from those experiences. It feels really awesome while I'm on them, but after that I feel like it was just an illusion. DMT feels very very real for some reason.

I think I believe in life after death now... the universe is more than just an empty void.

but whether or not that relates to the dmt experience is confusing for me..

sorry if this all comes across as pointless spam, I'm still just trying to figure this out for myself.. I think I need to smoke more

DMT+MAOI=better integration.
Yes! There is something realy REAL about it! If you are like me (I gotta figure everything out and DMT is just mocking me because I know forsure that my reason can never do this in the case of DMT) you may need to create a circle of binding to practice (freebase)-DMT exploration in. What happens in the circle stays there. It protects your sanity.

Greetings!

Blackfish I think you and I have had a similar experience, at least in regards to how the experience has impacted us. I admin, before my use of DMT I had a pretty logical thought process on life... We live, we mate, we die, and thats life. However, once I experienced DMT it really opened my mind in ways I would have never imagined. In fact, since I first experienced it I have done pretty much a full 180 in my life.

First off, is it real? This is a question which we all wonder... Is it really our mind, or is it something more? Personally, I believe its all in your mind. I believe if you experience evil, nightmarish demons then you are probably experiencing your own ego. Anything that goes on in a DMT trip is all in the realm of your mind. Now, hold on, does that mean it isn't real? No, in fact, I believe its more real than this reality itself.

What is reality? Is it this common thing we can all see? Is it the neurons and electrons moving around in your brain? Is it the electrical charge between your eye and your brain? I mean, where do we establish reality, where does it start and were does it end? In my opinion, it all comes down to your mind. Reality, what a magnificent label we have given to our own mind. Hilarious. Anyways, a DMT trip is as real as anything else. If it wasn't real, then you wouldn't of experienced it. It can not be not real and you have experienced it and even had memories of it. Therefore, it must be real. Just because your the only one who had that particular experience, does not mean it isn't real.

If your just beginning to accept there is something more to life than death, then you should follow through with that thought and see where it leads you. There are many brilliant ideas on who we are, why were here and where we go when we die. None of them are the true answer though, only you can find that answer for yourself. I heard a beautiful theory by Eckhart Tolle (a truly amazing mind, should listen to some stuff by him) who said consciousness is like a flower, its entire purpose is to bloom, and once it does its withers away. We say, but the flower is dead now, so whats the point, but the point was its bloom. We think of time too much like a linear thing, where we see the flower grow from a seed, into a plant, blossom into a flower and then finally wither away. But, what if the blossom, like the mind, only needs a split second to bloom... Its like a switch, on or off. Once its on, for a second, a minute, a year or a lifetime, it doesn't matter. The length of the bloom isn't the purpose, its the bloom that matters... I dunno, its harder to explain reflecting back on it, but it goes to show that society has corrupted us into this monolithic thought process. There are so many variations, so many possibilities, we can't even begin to fathom.

blah blah blah, now im just ranting... Anyways, good story man, hope you find what your looking for.

Alan Watts talks about this but uses music and dance to describe it:

“We could say that meditation doesn't have a reason or doesn't have a purpose. In this respect it's unlike almost all other things we do except perhaps making music and dancing. When we make music we don't do it in order to reach a certain point, such as the end of the composition. If that were the purpose of music then obviously the fastest players would be the best. Also, when we are dancing we are not aiming to arrive at a particular place on the floor as in a journey. When we dance, the journey itself is the point, as when we play music the playing itself is the point. And exactly the same thing is true in meditation. Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment.”
