so, in the blab, it states that if crystallization is not achieved (this is what is happening)then your spice is too dirty, it states pull with limo then resalt and rebase with sodium carb....could one just pull with acetone and freeze precipitate...any other suggestions are welcome

DMT will not precipitate out of acetone at freezing temperatures. To my knowledge, freeze precipitation of freebase DMT only works with aliphatic hydrocarbons such as petroleum ether (naphtha) and heptane.

that is very interesting, when i looked up aliphatic hyrdocarbons i found limonene to be on the list aswell, so why not just freeze it out of the limo before hand?

I'm not certain on whether or not it will freeze precipitate out of limonene, but my guess it that it won't. Even if it does, limonene does not evaporate completely so the crystals that are left would be coated in concentrated limonene residue, which has a very strong odor and is diffucult to remove.

The fact that limonene is an aliphatic hydrocarbon does not mean that one could freeze-precipitate dmt out of it. As a matter of fact, dmt is too soluble in limonene for freeze-precipitation to work. And it won't work.

To the OP: Entheogenator most likely did not mean that you can freeze-precipitate dmt out of all aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Right, I should have clarified. Sorry. Freeze precipitation only works with certain aliphatic hydrocarbons such as petroleum ether (naphtha) and heptane. There are others that will work, I believe freeze precipitation is possible with hexane if I remember correctly, but petroleum ether and heptane are the only ones I have personally used for this purpose.
