trouble remembering?

i've smoked a few times now and while i can retain a general sense of how strange my trip was, and perhaps a few fleeting details, that's it. it's almost worse than when you wake up knowing you just had an intense dream, but the harder you try to remember anything the faster the dream dissipates like smoke. will this become easier with repeated visits? does anyone else have trouble with this?

You can never remember a whole trip i think.. just parts from each trip.. once u had similar trips u will be remembering that similar ones much better.. may be some repeating shapes or patterns or entities you will never forget .. but by the time its usual to forget some part of your trips. Even the ones you know well. Its not a book to read and remember all but some intense or weird trips u will never forget i presume.. When was the last time u smoked? and what was the maximum amount you smoked ?

I've crossed the threshold about 20 or so times, its difficult to remember how many times exactly, and it does seem that the feelings fade as time passes. Other forces begin to take over and ego tries to cover up those memories. I suggest that you start to write down and sketch as much as you can immediately after returning.....kind of like a dream journal. I know exactly what your saying though memory has always been a problem for me as well. I can remember somethings, but even those things I remember are not felt as they were in that moment:wink:

It is hard to remember, DMT headspace is very similar to dreamspace.

Have a notebook handy, or even an audio recorder. Because most people experience a mild amnesia after the voyage it's good to start writing important things down as soon as you come back. The longer you wait the less you will remember.

I used to draw sketches of entities and bizare landscapes I encountered in hyperspace. Those experiences I wrote down and sketched, to this day, are the best remembered experiences (other than Aya) that I have with DMT.
