Trying to explore different perspectives

Migrated topic.

Hi there,

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. I'm trying to explore lot of things. I was recently introduced to Salvia and it really changed how I choose to see life, world, myself. I would like to continue this exploration further.. This seemed like a friendly forum to join and ask for advice and read other's experiences. I'm trying to buy some organic salvia extracts but not sure where to buy it from. I'm hoping some of you experienced users will point me in the right direction.

Thank you

Welcome Shad0w!

Good to have you - this is definitely a friendly space with lots of good info.

I would avoid sourcing questions and re-read the rules page to avoid other mis-steps. Other than that, always good to see a new person on a quest for knowledge. Did you have anything specific in mind as far as "next steps" in your exploration?

Peace & Blessings,

PT

Thanks for the reply and welcome. Yes! rules! will do.

I do have a specific question. I was wondering if salvia extracts could be used with a vaporizer? I know in the past they weren't able to reach the needed temperature but there are lot of models out now. Any chance you know the proper temp needed for extract vaping? That way I can narrow down my options. I'm in the process of shopping for a vaporizer and I would gladly get one that would go very well with Salvia.

Hi Shad0w,

the vaporization temperature of Salvinorin A is around 240ºC, so any device reaching 250ºC aprox should work.

EDIT: My mistake, that was the MELTING point. The actual boiling point is much higher, but according to Daniel Siebert 275ºC should suffice for salvia leaf (source)
