Two strange yet comical DMT experiences.

Rising Star
Hello all! I’m a long-time reader on this site. I remember discovering it around 10 years ago and learning almost everything I know about DMT here. Sorry if my post is a bit long; I just wanted to share my two most comical experiences with anyone who wants to read.

These are the two DMT experiences I'd like to share. I’ve encountered my fair share of unpleasant and dark journeys that I prefer not to share. However, I’ve also had profoundly transformative experiences.

It’s not uncommon for me to face darker experiences; at times, it feels like hyperspace doesn’t want me to return, as if I’ve overstayed my welcome or failed to show the necessary respect to the messages I’ve received. This has often led me to take long breaks from DMT. Despite this, my interest in cultivating plants that contain psychedelic alkaloids remains strong, as does my curiosity for the alkaloids.

Experience 1:

As I took my first inhale, I felt a wave of anticipation wash over me. With each subsequent inhale, I could sense the threshold approaching, and soon, I found myself lying down, fighting the urge to keep my eyes open as the effects began to take hold.

Suddenly, everything around me faded into pitch blackness. In that void, a image emerged—a steam train crafted from paper. My focus sharpened on this paper train, and then I noticed a bald three-dimensional man behind it. He seemed to be playing a game of peekaboo, retreating each time I tried to look closely. Unease stirred within me; I couldn’t quite grasp what was happening.

As I continued to observe, I began to laugh. Then, he paused, stepping out of this game to face me directly. With a theatrical flair, he exclaimed, “AND THAT’S ALL WE HAVE TIME FOR TODAY, FOLKS!” His voice echoed like a ringleader, a blend of humor and absurdity.

In an instant, the experience shifted, and I was back, filled with confusion and wonder. It was a stark contrast to my usual visuals, which often felt extra-dimensional and fluid, constantly morphing into new unexplainable shapes and colors.

Experience 2:

The journey began much like my previous one, with the familiar sensation of everything melting away around me. As I closed my eyes, I was enveloped in the black and white static of an untuned CRT television—a chaotic yet oddly comforting scene. The more I focused, the more this static felt alive, shifting and pulsing with energy.

In this instance, as the surroundings grew darker, I noticed something resembling a metal trash can in the distance. Peeking out was a creature reminiscent of Oscar the Grouch, but there was a sense of fear in its demeanor. It seemed hesitant, hiding as it looked at me.

It wasn’t until the entity poked its head out more that I recognized it as one I had encountered before. This entity often materialized from the very static I was witnessing, constructed from a blend of extra-dimensional gears and bolts, yet it retained a 19th-century mechanical feel, with a body that shifted form but always bore a similar face. In previous encounters, this entity had led me to a complex machine operated by multiple beings, their presence accompanied by strange electronic sounds that echoed like bleeps and boops. A wave of familiarity and joy swept in.

The entity revealed its whole face, adorned with a big, welcoming smile. In an instant, that joyous moment shattered—literally—as the entity exploded into thousands of mechanical parts, each piece falling like confetti, yet every single fragment bore that same beaming smile.

As I returned to my surroundings, laughter erupted from within me, pure and unfiltered. My friend, curious about my amusement, asked what was so funny, and all I could manage to say was, “What the fuck did I just see?”
